Music: Punk/Metal Killing Joke

One of post-punk's thorniest acts, Killing Joke returns after a long silence for an abrasive night in Chicago. The playlist will include numbers from the band's first two albums, 1980's Killing Joke and 1981's What's THIS For...!, as well as stripped-down punk ditties from the band's Island Records days, and later, tribal chart-toppers. This tour comes in conjunction with a series of reissues on Let Them Eat Vinyl, including catalog faves such as Revelations, Fire Dances, Night Time, Outside the Gate, and Brighter Than a Thousand Suns. With all four original members of the band on board, this opportunity to revisit the deep roots of industrial rock is hard to pass up.
