Music Jay-Z

Jay-Z continues to flout that whole "retirement" thing tonight, hitting the recently refurbished Hollywood Palladium for a headlining performance. Billing his show as an homage to the Palladium's 1940 debut — which featured the Tommy Dorsey orchestra and a then-unknown headliner by the name of Frank Sinatra — Mr. Z summons the spirit of Ol' Blue Eyes. Fresh off his controversial (but ultimately successful) Glastonbury gig, Jay takes the stage with a 12-piece band in a set that just may showcase songs from his upcoming new CD.
