Performing Arts: Theatre Free Night of Theater 2008

What began in 2005 as a single evening of free theatre in Philadelphia has become two weeks of free theatre in cities across the country. This year, New Yorkers can sample a diverse range of Off- (and Off-Off) Broadway productions without the financial constraints that can limit adventurous theatergoing. Catch a show at Off-Broadway establishments like Manhattan Theatre Club, Second Stage, Women's Project, Playwrights Horizons, and Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, or take a chance on new experimental work at La MaMa E.T.C., the Brick Theater, and Soho Think Tank.

Note: Tickets are released online in pairs on a first-come, first-serve basis at 10am on October 1. Tickets go fast, so check listings beforehand and don't wait to put in your requests.
